November 18 Aeroflot resumes direct flights between Tehran and Moscow.
The first flight of the Russian airline will start Wednesday next week from Imam Khomeini Airport to Sheremetyevo International Airport in Moscow, IRNA reports.
According to the Russian airline, flights from Tehran to Moscow will be made two days a week (Sunday and Wednesday) by Russian jets Airbus A-320 and A-321.
Mahan Airlines currently operates flights from Tehran to Moscow and back on Thursdays.
Aeroflot is the national air carrier and largest air company of the Russian Federation. The airline was founded in 1923, which made Aeroflot one of the oldest operating airlines in the world.
