Joint meeting of the Russian-Iranian Economic Commission took place
Iran’s Ambassador in Russia Mehdi Sanaei wrote in his Twitter that “Iranian export to Russia saw the 42% growth for the last 9 months while the total turnover of commodities between the two countries increased by 10%”.
“50% of the total turnover of commodities consist of agricultural products. It stands to mention that Iran and Russia are seriously inclined to broaden the economic cooperation”, he added, ISNA reports.
Reza Ardakanyan came to Moscow on Monday to meet the Russian authorities and take part in the joint Russian-Chinese meeting of the Commission.
He will meet Aleksandr Novak, Russian Minister of energy, on the first day of his visit to Moscow.
Mr. Ardahanan will be accompanied by the high-ranked delegation.
The Russian-Iranian Economic Commission includes 15 work groups which cooperate in the field of transport, standardization, banking, tourism, sports and youth affairs, investments, nuclear issues, higher education, industry, Eurasian Economic Union, customs, health, culture, energy and mining.
