Russian-Iranian Business Council opens an office in the Trade House of Iran in Astrakhan
Amid the current conditions of trade and economic cooperation between the Russian Federation and Islamic Republic of Iran it became necessary to open representative offices of the Russian-Iranian Business Council in other cities of Russia. November 5 RIBC opened its representative office under the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation in the Trade House of Iran in Astrakhan.
It should be emphasized that due to its geographical location Astrakhan is known as a traditional crossroads of trade and economic routes of the two countries, as well as a city where Iranian business is significantly concentrated. The establishment of the representative office was based on the agreement reached between the President of the Iranian-Russian Joint Chamber of Commerce (IRJCC) Hadi Tizkhush-Taban and the Chairman of the Russian-Iranian Business Council Vladimir Vladimirovich Obydenov.
The opening ceremony was attended by the Head of the Trade House of Iran Reza Asli, Chairman of RIBC V.V. Obydenov, Assistant Chairman A.Yu. Kolomoitseva, Deputy Chairman for Transport and Logistics D.A. Zernichenko, representative of the Agency for International Relations of the Astrakhan region N.G. Shaimakov and others.
RIBC understands the importance of "field" work in development of business partnership between the two countries and considers the opening of the Astrakhan representative office to be an extremely important step in this direction, which can bear fruit in the near future.
Also, IRJCC will soon open its representative office in Moscow.
